Welcome to this Thirty-One Gifts Review.

I have a lot friends in this business, and they all claim to really love it.  It’s not really my style of business, but I decided to research the company and business anyway.

In this article, I am going to cover the company, products, cost to join, and the compensation plan.

I remember when I was new to this industry, and how confused I was about these businesses.  Once you have all the proper information, then you can make the decision if this business is right for you.

Thirty-One Gifts Review – The Company

Thirty One Gifts was started in Cindy Monroe’s basement in the year 2003.  The direct sales company specializes in home parties, Facebook events selling their personalized gifts, and building a downline.

The company was started to help women and give them the opportunity to start their own successful business.

Thirty-One Gifts Review – Cost To Join

The first step to joining Thirty-One is choosing a consultant, and purchasing your start kit.  There are currently two kits to choose from when joining as a consultant, and they range between $99 and $179 plus tax and shipping and handling.  Which isn’t a bad price, and they also offer bonuses depending on when you join.

The starter kits include a website, catalogs, and several bags

  • Signature Kit – $99
  • Deluxe Kit – $179

Consultants will also be charged a monthly subscription fee (currently $14.95 per month), to cover the cost of a your website and the company emails that are sent to your customers.

Each consultant must have at least $200 in sales every three months to remain active.

Thirty-One Gifts Review – Compensation Plan

A consultant earns a 25% commission on all personal sales, and 2-9% on your downline depending on your title.  When you advance, then you can also earn money from overrides and the percentage increases as you advance through the levels.

A title is a leadership ranking that you must qualify for as you build your business.

If you reach director in your first three months, then you earn a one time $1000 bonus.

According to Thirty-One’s income disclosure statement from 2015, 92.1% of the people in the business were at the consultant level earning an average yearly income of $548.  That’s roughly $45.67 that a consultant earns a month, so subtract $14.95 and it’s $30.72 a month.  It will take four months to earn your start up investment back.

Thirty-One Gifts Review – Is This a Good Business Opportunity?

Is Thirty-One a good business opportunity?  It’s definitely not a bad opportunity, especially if you are passionate about the products and throwing home parties.  It’s a popular market, and there is potential to earn an income with their compensation plan.  The women in this business seem amazing, and the company is always giving back.

There are some things you should keep in mind.  I am a little concerned that the average consultant only makes $550, and it’s obvious it pays to move up in the leadership ranks.  If you know how to generate traffic and leads, then you will be fine in this business.  It wasn’t until I learned how that I started making money online from my businesses.  If you are a shy person, then this may be a difficult business for you.
